The team at Colorado Dental Group was honored at a gala on Sept 28th as a recipient of the prestigious 2017 Excellence in Customer Service Award from the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado. The event drew a massive crowd of over 400 community members at the Colorado Springs City Auditorium.
The Vetting Process
The BBB has a tried and true system in place to determine who will receive this annual award. In order to win, nominees fill out a 50-page application stating how they fulfill the BBB’s standards for excellence. A third-party, independent review company then spends half a day onsite interviewing key staff members to determine eligibility.
Providing the highest level of customer service is the team’s #1 goal – in fact, it’s the first line of the Colorado Dental Group mission statement to “put patient’s experience first”. They accomplish this by offering extensive continuing education in customer service for every person in the office to ensure that standards are communicated and upheld by every team member. Additionally, staff regularly reviews feedback from patients for further training opportunities, and surveys every patient to identify opportunities for continual improvement. This has resulted in over 95% of patients stating that they would recommend the practice to a friend.
